The World of Exiern

Typan-Knee (Tiffany)
Last of the Strong Tree clan Typan-Knee traveled the world fighting evil where ever it might be. At the time Typan-Knee happened to be male a condition she was “cured” of when she faced the wizard Faden. When corner and striped of most of his dark powers Faden grabbed a random book from his collection and cast the first curse he could find a curse that changed Typan-Knee from an enraged male barbarian to a very enraged female barbarian. Faden was then beaten to a pulp by said barbarian maiden.

Typhan-Knee aka. Tiffany is now stuck in an unfamiliar female form. This is proving quite a problem for misogynist from a misogynistic people. Saying “A woman’s place is in the kitchen” has an ironic twist if you are the woman in question. Typan-Knee seeks a way to break the Faden’s feminizing curse return to normal. But Faden was a powerful wizard and lifting the spell is proving quite difficult.

Typan-Knee’s people, the Northern Barbarian, are known for using their rage as a weapon in battle and Typan-Knee is no different. She is quick to anger and quick to act but she is not stupid or impulsive. Tiffany is actually much brighter than most would assume. She has seen much of the world in her life an understands it’s workings. Her intelligence has lead to her downfall due to the fact that she has a tendency to show off when she thinks she has the upper hand.

Princess Peonie of the Grand Luminary Alliance (Peonie)
Peonie, it seems, was born to be the princess in distress. She has been taken hostage more times that she would like to count. Some say that this is due to her position as heir to the largest nation in the west other says that it is because of the huge tracks of land she possesses but the truth of the mater is that is because Peonie does not act like a princess. Peonie is a risk taker and she craves adventure and excitement a prim and proper palace life is anathema to her very character. At the same time she is rather naïve about the world and assumes the best about people even when the evidence points to the contrary. Added to a general childish disregard for rules and you get a perfect storm of hostageablity.

During her latest peril Peonie was rescued by the barbarian warrior Typhan-Knee. This probably would have been the beginning of a wild romace had Typhan-Knee not lost her gender at the same moment Peonie gained her freedom. As it is Peonie is trying to help Typhan-Knee adjust to her new body. They have become good friend and Peonie often keeps Typhan-Knee’s more fiery temperament in check.

Faden (The Dark Lord, Lord of the Gaelish Cost)
Faden has been the undisputed ruler of the Gaelish Cost for over a decade. Unlike most despotic wizards Faden pretty much keep to himself ruling his land with an iron fist but not causing any trouble outside his borders. Then one day he with out explanation he kidnapped the heir to Grand Luminary Alliance.

The Luminaries began making plans for war but hope of defeating Fadens mystically enhanced army was low. Instead of a direct confrontation the king offered a reward to any hero that could rescue the princess unharmed. One barbarian warrior heeded the call and set out to face Faden.

Faden is the most powerful wizard in the west, but even powerful wizards can have bad days. When the barbarian burst into his lair a spell backfired and he was defeated. Now a prisoner he seeks to escape and regain his lost power.

The Unicorn
Unicorns vanished from the world soon after the departure of the gods. A spell miscast by the wizard Faden has brought one of the unicorns back into existence. The Unicorn has bonded with the barbarian warrior Typhan-Knee much to her chagrin. It’s not as if the Unicorn is not helpful. Its horn blocks black magic and locks of its main prevent psychic attacks. It just Typhan-Knee wishes the Unicorn didn’t act and look so girly.
