I can’t believe that PP is letting the soldiers make decisions for her. If Peonie tries to walk right up to Tiffany and talk to her, what are the men going to do? Grab her and actually restrain her from getting near Tiff?

Well, technically, the guards could physically restrain P from approaching an obviously dangerous situation. They work for the kingdom, specifically the king, and are charged with her safety. If I were them, I’d rather face the wrath of a large-breasted princess than a vindictive king whose daughter I let wander into a volatile situation.
