This isn’t the queen. “Mother” has a birthmark, a thinner nose, and (possibly, hard to tell) less boobage.

I’m guessing she’s the Queen’s sister.

The King also said she “…disappeared” not died. Given the king’s nature, I get the feeling they may have set it up as a way for him to have a group of assassins he could hire that (in theory) couldn’t be traced back to him to cause international incidents. The only catch is they have to take other contracts too to make it seem legitimate.

That’s my Conspiracy Theory for the week.

The resemblance is there, mostly in the red hair, but that’s not the Queen. Remember that Princess Peonie got more than her good looks from her Mom, two things at least. Pity brains wasn’t one of them.

I also wonder if the King had married Tiffany, how he would expect to keep this relationship up. Tiffany doesn’t seem the type to accept this without major mayhem and no small amount of bloodshed.
